On the 22nd of February 2015 our wildest dreams came true when we received the Academy Award for Short Film – Live Action. We are genuinely humbled and are forever grateful to the Academy for awarding us with THE greatest filmic honour.

This award is dedicated to the incredible Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, and all our crew who believed in us and our script. 

Our Oscar is dedicated to the unsung heroes around the world that man crisis phone lines and volunteer as “listeners”. Without pay they deal with incredibly complex and delicate predicaments and demonstrate innate goodness via empathy and compassion. Like mothers Kirkby and Lucas, we love you all.
